Your rights
Ask about your data
Under UK GDPR you can ask us at any time to show you, correct, delete, or stop using the personal information we hold about you. This page explains how.
What you can ask for
- A copy of the information we hold about you (a Subject Access Request).
- To correct anything that is wrong.
- To delete information we no longer need.
- To stop using your information in a particular way (for example, to stop marketing emails).
- To receive your information in a portable format.
How to make a request
Email talkto@bigcatchbeckenham.co.uk with:
- What you would like us to do (for example, “please send me a copy of my booking history”).
- The email address or phone number you used when you contacted us, so we can find your record.
- Enough detail for us to confirm we are talking to the right person — if your request is large or sensitive, we may ask for one piece of ID.
If you prefer to write, our postal address is The Big Catch, 202–204 High Street, Beckenham BR3 1EN.
How long it takes
We will respond within one calendar month. If your request is complex, we may extend that by up to two further months and tell you why.
What it costs
Nothing — making a request is free. We can only charge a fee if a request is “manifestly unfounded or excessive”, which is very rare; we will explain in writing if that ever applies.
Quick actions you can do yourself
- · Cancel a reservation using the link in your confirmation email, or the lookup form on that page.
- · Unsubscribe from marketing emails by clicking “unsubscribe” at the bottom of any newsletter we have sent you.
- · Change your cookie choice at any time.
If you’re not satisfied
Please tell us first — we’ll do our best to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113.
